This is Dali | Gourd mouth organ
The gourd mouth organ, or Hulusheng in Chinese, is a traditional musical instrument cherished by the Lisu ethnic group in west Yunnan’s Dali Bai autonomous prefecture.
The instrument has a gourd as its resonator and bamboo pipes as its sound producers. When played, it sounds like springs flowing through bamboo or winds swirling inside a gourd.
Up to now, the Hulusheng making and playing have been passed down through generations, and they are among the most treasured cultural heritages of the Lisu community in Dali.
