Coffee output value in Pu'er exceeds 10 billion yuan

With a coffee cultivation area of 703,900 mu (46,926.6 ha), the comprehensive output value of coffee in southwest Yunnan’s Pu'er city has exceeded 10 billion yuan in 2025. The city has become the core area for coffee production and the hub of coffee trade in China.

Since November, Pu'er farmers have been harvesting coffee in the plantations. This year, the price of fresh coffee cherries is on the rise, boosting local farmers' incomes and enhancing the coffee industrial efficiency. Pu'er is ushering in new development opportunities for the coffee industry.
