2,069 riders attend int'l cycling event in Pu'er

The 2025 Colorful Yunnan Granfondo Cycling Festival recently took place in Simao district, southwest Yunnan's Pu'er city.

2,069 riders attend int'l cycling event in Pu'er

The event was attended by 2,069 cyclists from 21 countries and regions, who gathered in the beautiful Pu'er for a passionate and challenging cycling journey.

After intense competition, Chinese cyclist Chen Hao secured the men's long-distance title in 2 hours, 52 minutes and 7 seconds, while Li Si claimed the women's long-distance title in 3 hours, 7 minutes and 35 seconds.

In the long-distance race for men aged above 50, Italian cyclist Cristiano Tomasso took first place with a time of 3 hours, 7 minutes and 38 seconds. Singaporean cyclist Poon Chung Kiat and British rider Daniel James Smith finished second and third.
