Lincang hosts 34th national sci-tech event on tea industry
The 34th China Tea Industry Science and Technology Conference was recently held in southwest Yunnan’s Lincang city.
The event attracted tea industry professionals, tea experts and scholars, tea entrepreneurs, and journalists from 27 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across China.
The annual conference featured exhibitions of scientific and technological achievements in tea, promotions of five-star rated tea samples, and talent exchange activities.
It showcased 31 promising new varieties, technologies, and products with application potential, as well as 72 tea samples that received a five-star quality rating from the China Tea Science Society in 2025.
The Lincang exhibition area featured over 50 enterprises specializing in tea, nuts, and coffee. Through business exchanges and tea tasting sessions, attendees experienced firsthand the vibrant growth of Lincang's tea industry.
Since its inception in 1990, the national tea conference has been held 33 times consecutively, contributing to the high-quality development of the tea industry.
