China, Thailand mark bilateral ties with 5,000km BYD ride

A cross-border BYD car ride is going on for the 50th anniversary of China-Thailand diplomatic relations.

Involving 15 BYD Sealion 6 DM-i vehicles, the motorcade set off at Sanam Luang in Bangkok on October 10.

From October 13 to 14, the attendees stopped in Jinghong city, south Yunnan’s Xishuangbanna Dai autonomous prefecture.

The 5,000-kilometer friendship tour spans 16 days, crossing five Chinese provinces and ending in Beijing.
