The Lugu Lake scenic area in northwest Yunnan’s Lijiang city received a total of 1.56 million tourists in 2025, marking a year-on-year increase of 10.7% compared to 1.41 million in 2024.

Prioritizing ecology and green development, the cross-province Yunnan scenic area cooperated with Sichuan in jointly building an ecological shield. As a result, the water quality of Lugu Lake has been as Class A.
