20,000 runners join in LMC Dali marathon

With the theme of "running for a mountain-lake love", the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation (LMC) Dali Marathon 2025 took place in west Yunnan’s Dali prefecture on May 18.

Nearly 20,000 running enthusiasts from the six LMC countries—China, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Cambodia—attended the event, together with runners from other countries.

The marathon route passes through the Erhai Lake Ecological Corridor, the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple, and the Dali Ancient City, allowing runners to immerse themselves in Dali’s breathtaking landscapes.
