Lancang-Mekong audiovisual personages speak on media cooperation

The Quality Learning Program and Lancang-Mekong Youth Talent Dialogue under the 2025 Lancang-Mekong Audiovisual Week (LMAW) took place in east Yunnan’s Qujing city on November 28. The event was attended by more than 50 audiovisual professionals from China, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Focusing on media creativity and regional cooperation in the Lancang-Mekong River basin, the dialogue was hosted by Xun Junqin, dean of the Broadcasting and Hosting Arts Department, School of Music and Dance at Qujing Normal University and Watcharin Setakudan, director of International News Department of MCOT, Thailand.

Major speakers at the dialogue included Nguyen Ngoc Anh, reporter with VTC News, Vietnam; Chhay Uddam, deputy director of the Overseas News Broadcasting Department, National Television of Cambodia; Myat Khine, editor-in-chief of Myanmar Popular News; and Senglathsamy Souvath, journalist at Lao Youth Radio.
