LMAW's learning program, Yunnan tour begins in Qujing city

The "Quality Learning" program and the "Lancang-Mekong Eyes on Yunnan" tour under the 2025 Lancang-Mekong Audiovisual Week (LMAW) kicked off in east Yunnan's Qujing city on November 27.

As the concluding episode of the LMAW cultural series, the learning program brings together young elites from major media outlets and audiovisual institutions of seven South and Southeast Asian countries.

Featuring special lectures, on-site training, and exchange seminars, the program aims to facilitate mutually-beneficial cooperation through intellectual exchanges.

The Yunnan tour is attended by representatives from the broadcasting administrative departments and mainstream media outlets of the five Mekong countries of Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam.

The participants will get to know Qujing's Cuan culture, experience the joyful life in Tuguachong village, learn about the cultural heritage of rice-cake making, and explore the pottery-making skills in Liaohu village.
