Yang Wanming noted that since the LMC mechanism was founded a decade ago, the outcomes of collaboration have benefited the people of all six countries. The Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries is willing to work with all parties to build more bridges for people-to-people exchanges, practical cooperation, cultural interactions, and youth friendship.

The forum participants agreed that the LMC has advanced in a pragmatic and efficient manner, with close collaboration among local governments bringing tangible benefits to the people. They said that local governments of the LMC countries would leverage their respective strengths, engage in the cooperation through diverse means, and contribute to the Lancang-Mekong community with a shared future.
