Snipes seen foraging on Pu’er wetland
Two snipes have been observed foraging at a wetland park in Menglian county, southwest Yunnan’s Pu'er city.
The snipe is a wading bird of marshes and wet meadows. It features a long straight bill, brown camouflaged plumage, and typically a drumming display flight.
