Under the theme of “Experience a Joyful and New Xizang; Explore, Unite, and Journey on”, the three-day expo also highlighted the tourism culture of Tibet. It featured both online and offline events, including a main forum, exhibitions, tourism marketing and investment promotion activities.

Hu Heping, minister of culture  and tourism of China said the expo is aimed at building a high- level and globally recognized platform to showcase the beauty of Tibet - its ecological splendour, cultural richness, and historical significance, as well as recent achievements. He said it would be a gateway for both Chinese and global audiences to know an authentic Tibet, embrace its diversity, and cultivate a passion for it.
