Environment is the one word which concerns the whole world today, living in the so-called space age we find it shrinking around us day-by-day.  Gone  are the days  where  we could see peacocks dancing on our single story rooftops, horses trotting on the green countryside symbolizing the clean landscape of yesteryears, starry nights with billions of stars where we could see the cosmic harmony are no more to be seen today. Our modern-day fast approach leaves huge carbon footprints beyond control which is a huge Environmental concern.

While there are efforts undertaken globally to  reduce the carbon footprint, the one collective effort the human race needs to make is “to go back to nature and not turn our back to it” , feels the veteran globally recognized and highly awarded artist D.P. Sibal who has been painting for decades on environmental themes to bring home this message. Incidentally, Nature has been a constant source of inspiration for senior artist DP Sibal owing to a childhood spent amid landscape and his ecological concern.

Sibal for over 6 decades continues to paint on the subject of Nature & Environment. A Fellow of the International Institute of Arts & Letters, Switzerland, Sibal has had an enriching experience both in India and abroad. He has also designed the logo for “40 years of World Development” for UNDP & his paintings have been adopted by WHO, Thalassemics India & Indian Council for Child Welfare etc for greetings cards.

Sibal’s  paintings have been exhibited across the globe from California to Osaka Triennale in Japan to London. His most recent Exhibit was at Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Resort & Spa for World CIO 200 - Dubai. The top artist has been honoured by the Presidents, Prime Ministers, Ambassadors and other dignitaries both in India and abroad. He is also well recognized by famous bodies like the UN for his various efforts about conveying the message of preserving Mother Nature.
